Tumulte Noir LE TUMULTE NOIR portfolio was published in January 1927 in tribute to Josephine Baker and other African American performers, appearing in Paris in the roaring twenties. Each Plate measures approx. 18 1/2 x 12 1/12 inches and are all hand colored lithographs. All Plates are printed on both sides with the exception of Plate #24 and Josephine Baker's letter.
